The viral video creator Julian Shapiro-Barnum, who introduced the world to the "Corn Kid" 鈥� shares advice for talking to children
Much of the world came to know the show Recess Therapy through a viral video this summer featuring Tariq, better known as 鈥淐orn Kid.鈥� The show’s 23-year-old creator, Julian Shapiro-Barnum, tells 蜜桃影视鈥檚 Asher Lehrer-Small what it鈥檚 like to launch a social media craze and what he鈥檚 learned from hundreds of on-the-street interviews with kids.
During the pandemic, Shapiro-Barnum started interviewing children about happiness, and the footage 鈥渨as clearly gold,鈥� he said.
鈥淚 don’t baby the kids and I don’t talk down to them. And I think that really does wonders.
